FAQs

Is this class for me?

If you’re just starting out in digital photography, just bought a camera or want to learn the absolute basics to take better photos, then this class is for you.

All you need to bring is a camera with a charged battery and a memory card. The camera can be a DSLR or a mirrorless model. Not sure if your camera will work for the class? Send me an email by clicking here.

Is this class outdoors?

Yes, weather permitting the class will take place at a location in North Vancouver (a park or open space). We will follow safe COVID protocols like keeping a safe distance between participants and wearing a mask if you feel more comfortable doing so.

What’s included?

  • An outdoor, 90 minute class including a short photo walk.

  • Handouts of the key concepts covered.

  • A maximum of 8 participants that guarantees personal attention.

What do I need to bring?

  • A DSLR or mirrorless camera. A smaller camera may be ok as long as it has the option to adjust Aperture and Shutter Speed. These options usually appear as a dial with the letters “S” and “A” You can email me to confirm if your model will work.

  • Please be on time (early is better). We’re unable to restart the class once it has started.
